El alquiler turístico en viviendas plurifamiliares continuará prohibido en Palma, que se declara Zona Única, según la propuesta de zonificación presentada este lunes por el Ayuntamiento de Palma. Sí estará autorizado en viviendas unifamiliares. De acuerdo con los plazos previstos, la medida entrará en vigor en junio (Palma prohíbe el alquiler turístico de pisos).
Pese a esta autorización, el Ayuntamiento establece varias excepciones. No se podrá alquilar en suelo rústico protegido, en los polígonos ni en la zona de influencia del aeropuerto de Palma, informan los medios locales. El alcalde de Palma, Antoni Noguera, y el teniente de alcalde de Urbanismo, José Hila, han explicado que el objetivo es “facilitar el acceso a la vivienda para personas que residen o trabajan en la ciudad” (Vecinos se manifiestan contra la saturación turística en Palma).
Noguera ha asegurado que se trata de una decisión “referente” que será “pionera” en el marco del Estado español. El grupo municipal del PSOE se había abstenido en esta votación porque quería estudiar la posibilidad de permitir el alquiler turístico en la vivienda habitual durante un máximo de dos meses, una cuestión que finalmente no ha sido abordada (Colectivos de izquierda exigen a Baleares que acote el alquiler ilegal de Airbnb).
“Queremos eliminar el impacto que el alquiler turístico tiene en el alquiler para residentes”. Hay una serie de “datos que refuerzan esta decisión, como que la oferta de pisos de alquiler turístico no reglados aumentó entre 2015 y 2016 un 50% llegando a cerca de las 20.000 plazas comercializadas”, ha apuntado el teniente de alcalde.
Por su parte, HABTUR Baleares, la patronal de alquiler turístico, remarca en un comunicado remitido a preferente.com que la prohibición a la que el gobierno municipal quiere someter a la ciudad no solo llevará consecuencias en las rentas de muchos ciudadanos que aprovechaban esta modalidad de alquiler, sobre todo para habitaciones, sino que la oferta complementaria se verá gravemente afectada, lo que podrá comportar pérdidas en
puestos de trabajo.
La asociación asegura que desde la entrada en vigor de la ley y la consecuente moratoria, se redujo un tercio la oferta no reglada del mercado y aun así el precio del alquiler residencial ha aumentado un 10%, "lo que demuestra que el alquiler turístico no es el responsable de este aumento, sino que es multifactorial".

Por fin alguien tiene sentido común !! Ojala que mis amigos sin piso pronto tienen posibilidad de alquiler!
No podra alquilar de ninguna forma un piso? Ni por dos meses? Tampoco se podran alquilar habitaciones en bnc como hasta ahora?
Supongo que si que podran alquilarse habitaciones por temporadas largas, que eso no es vacacional y para trabajadores.
Es definitivo ya?
Pueden aclararlo?
Tambien si hay zonas de la isla en las que si que se podra.
